Statue of Liberty and the city skyline of New York’s Lower Manhattan as seen from Upper New York Bay. This was actually taken while on the Liberty Island Ferry as I returned from the Island back to the New Jersey Port. Processed in black and white to bring out the tone gradient in the sky caused by the haze above the city.
There’s something about this photo that I just love. It has a classic look about it, and I think it shows “The Capital of the World” in a flattering light. I lived near New York City for several years, and I was constantly amazed by the beauty and richness one could find there.
