One of San Francisco’s hot spots for café fare and international literature with an old style Parisian-inspired atmosphere just off Union Square. There are really only 3 reason to go to Cafe de la Presse, the coffee, which is second to none, the cheap entertainment of lost tourists passing by, and the fact that they don’t give you dirty looks when you sit outside and smoke. In fact, they’ll bring you an ashtray, a rarity in San Francisco.
