A surfer heading out into the water for an afternoon of waves. This was taken on the beach near Encinitas, California. Surfing is a big part of culture and way of life in these beach towns along the Southern California coastline. These folks hit the water before work in the morning, on lunch breaks, after work, all weekend, and pretty much any other time they can get out there.
