Howard and Fourth Streets, San Francisco’s South of Market district, 2003.

This photograph was taken with a borrowed 40mm lens which there are no frame lines for in a rangefinder. I composed the image for a 50mm, then walked halfway across the street to make the exposure, narrowly escaping a rather irate taxi driver.
