  3. Yes, this is really one of my absolute favorites. It’s really like an archetype of a city. So many ways to come, so many ways to go. A balcony door, and you ask yourself, is there someone behind watching. Susan Sontag called photography the only true surrealist art to have had continuing success, and this is classical and profoundly surreal as well. In itself meaningless, but open as a receptacle for every kind of meaning, for every story you want to pour in. Wonderful.
