I’ve seen these lights a thousand times. I’ve seen them in conjunction with this old portrait of people who were in love eighty or ninety years ago and are long since dead, but it never occurred to me that these are hearts, a circle of hearts. The lights are from the circle of holes in the back of a studio type spotlight that I use as a bed lamp, and the people I do not even know. I shot the image for my photoblog at a day when I was sick at home. This image was shot with a Nikon 50/1.2 at f1.2 on a Nikon D200.
