In case you were wondering… this is what “Art” looks like.
This was another of my photos from a photowalk in La Jolla, California. The town is fairly well known for its abundance of art galleries, and this sign happened to be above one of them. Actually, I don’t recall if it was a gallery or an art supply store. Either way, I liked the fact that the sign above my head only said “Art”. As I framed up the photo I decided to center the subject and give it a little tilt for fun. As I processed it, I brought out the texture on the wall and added some vignette to strengthen the centered composition.
