This photo was taken in Chascomus, a quiet country town in Argentina, some 120km from the capital Buenos Aires. The buildings in the centre of the town are over a hundred years old and built in a traditional Spanish colonial style. The house numbers are displayed on simple plaques, just like this one.


You might find this question slightly agitating… What is the significance of the location of this photograph? A fine art photograph is in my view an image beyond it’s content. All we need to know is right there in the shot. This is actually not a rhetorical question. I was interested in your opinion in regards to this.
Small & simple, but this is a stunner!
