I recently acquired a Canon 5D Mark II because I wanted all those extra pixels and the full frame. This was the first shot I took with it, and I’ve been very pleased with the camera to date. I can definitely see a difference in what my macro lens produces using this camera as opposed to the Mark III even–the detail is fabulous and the color is no less.
This blue anemone poppy was shot in natural window light with no flash, using the Canon 100mm macro lens at 1/2s, f/7.1 at 100mm iso100.
