This photo was taken somewhere in the middle of Washington’s Palouse region. The Palouse is a large area in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho known for farming and agriculture. The landscape is characterized by rolling silt dunes spotted with old farm buildings and a few roads.
This old barn was abandoned and stood alone in a field near a side-road. Using my wide angle lens, I captured some impressive cloud formations over the building — though the photo shows a distorted reality. The portion near the top of the image was nearly straight overhead.
