I followed an arroyo for several hours on this late afternoon, weaving in and out of the landscape and into new scenes of beauty, one after the other - it’s easy to see why people get lost. Growing up in a rural area gave me a strong sense of preparedness when venturing into the wilds, but the danger it presents is tempered by the exquisite forms that occur there, timeless and undaunted. 1. Very Ansel Adams like.

  2. Hi John, thanks for your comment. Ansel is one of those artists that, no matter who you are, when you see his work you finally understand why artists pursue their passions the way they do. I admire his work a great deal and have definitely been influenced by the Zone System that he and Fred Archer developed together.
  3. Gorgeous image, lovely toning. I love the cloud hanging over in the sky like that. Beautiful.

    Stumbled!
