The Salinas Grandes are an enormous salt pan in Argentina's Andean northwest, nearly as big in area as Luxembourg.

The Salinas Grandes are an enormous salt pan in Argentina’s Andean northwest, nearly as big in area as Luxembourg. Quecha people are employed to extract salt. The light off reflecting off the salt at this high altitude is blinding.
