Laguna Blanca, Bolivia . . . by Andrew Gibson
The Laguna Blanca (White Lake) is in the remote southwest of the Bolivian Andes, close the border with Chile, and right next to the Laguna Verde (Green Lake). It´s remoteness and high altitude make it difficult to reach; I was there as part of a four day tour from Tupiza. It was very beautiful and also very cold. Just a few metres from the ice in the this photo was a thermal bath with an amazing view over the lake.
Andrew this is absolutely my favourite of your photos so far. It’s so striking and magical, like a fantasy movie setting. Absolutely beautiful and brilliantly captured! Thank you for sharing!
